No SUV's was a main bullet, as was AWD. The AWD options were all listed really. For hauling family and getting good mileage a TDI would be my choice. I live in the UP and see 200'' of snow a year, FWD is just fine.

Last time I checked, the Sequoia was a fucking monster. MPG will severely suffer. CTS 4 Sportwagon is definitely one to consider.

my moms subaru outback ('00) has 210k and has been very reliable. in the last 70k, all she has done was replace the (original) clutch, tires, and brakes.

mazdaspeed6 is AWD. 275hp. bit of a pig at 3700lbs, but its quite a lot of fun.

Price check on Vagiclean, aisle five. I repeat: price check on Vagiclean, aisle five. That's Vagiclean. We've got a customer down here with a full-on fallopian fungus. I'm baking a loaf of bread and I think it's sourdough.

Yup. And if she's feeling frisky she can opt for the sport package. TRD is over priced but oh so sweet.

Thanks for all the advice guys, but there is a reason AWD is at the top of the list...

We're gonna check out some cars today; we hadn't considered the Cadillac so we'll take a look at that too

                        Cadillac CTS wagon w/ AWD.

Have you tried a FWD car with snow tires? Most say that works better than AWD + all seasons. AWD doesn't help you stop.
