How much should I charge

UNLESS he wants to pay you, OR you are a professional (yes, I ALWAYS charge, even my friends. This is my only income.) at which point payment should have been discussed before work started...but it sounds to me like this isn't your income and that you don't really care, and are trying to figure out how to get "balance" here.

I say charge him $75 and take him to pizza!

in fairness to what you said (agreeing with you), if someone is a professional then everyone will be your friend for your services so i agree with what is said here....




my friend is an extremely good tuner, fabricator welder and builder (and yes i would put him in the top of all these fields individually) and someone with those qualities i know for a fact finds "friends" very quickly... because people are cheap assholes.
