Because mud tires are shit in snow. You want skinnies, wide tires push snow and make it hard to turn or stop.

Sadly enough we did not get much of anything for snow. I like it for Christmas day, then it can melt away. I can see plenty of patches of ground where the snow is not covering. I guess I am lucky =)

                      skinny wide tires.

I didn't make it to work because my torque converter shit the bed. But at least my snow tires worked great.

My woman has a Subaru OB sport, I drive a 99 Ram. Subaru feels more at home in the snow than the truck.

^^Man I had a 2007 Subaru WRX wagon that was insane in the snow, far better than every SUV and 4x4 I've ever had! That's what I sold to buy my first e30!

My next car will be a subaru. Its a relatively simple system in a relatively cheap wagon, who could ask for more?

Fuck snow though, I just want it for unimproved surfaces when camping.
                              Im now E30less.
