Word, that's a nice car. My brother's first car was a HZ GTS, four door. Warm 308 but I can't remember if it was a manual or auto. Was quite a beast though.

My first car was a MK2 Escort 2door. It had a 2litre pinto but being a 16 year old noob I r3ved the engine, threw a rod and put a hole the size of my fist in the block. Replaced with a 1.6 pushrod Kent as it was all I could afford, just wasn't the same so I moved it on and bought an AE86. I regret selling it and if I ever find a 2door with a clean body for a reasonable price I will surely consider buying it.

I'll edit this post if I can find pics.

mods eventually being Racing dynamic springs, H4's, Intake...thats about it.
Where thinking it had a 4.10 because it Kicked so much ass!

It did eventually make its way back into my life as Matts Trailer. and is infact in my back yard right now !

1984 Mazda Rx-7. Currently on its third owner (I was the 2nd). I may actually have an opportunity in the next 6 months to buy her back, which I'm planning on doing.

1981 Volvo 245DL wagon Canadian version.

2.1 B21A 4cyl with the pathetic single SU carb setup. It was the manual choke setup as well. It also had the old points and condensor setup in the ignition.

Considering the US market had FI on all Volvo's since the early 70's, there's no reason why the canadian market got the stripped down euro carb'ed version that produced the least hp and tq, yet required premium fuel in the late 70's ?!?!? like WTF is that all about? if your going to make an econo model, why would you design it to run best on prem fuel?!?!

The floorboards rusted thru, and the car would hiccup terribly in traffic when it was cold, regardless of how much fuel you gave it (I'd r3v the $hit outta it, but it didn't help).

To this day I refuse to own another Volvo product.

First car under my name is my e30.
If that doesn't matter, then my '97 Hardbody was "my first" car.

    I started out looking for:
    e36 m3
    e46 m3
    06 Subaru STi

Was looking for '64 Impala or '66 Chevy II or '64-66 Chevelle's, ended up with a '74 Gran Torino that was given to me by some friends of my folks. That car had a 351C 2v and a 30gal tank in it!

No pics but my first car was a 1975 Monte Carlo Landau. It had a 350 in it that my dad rebuilt. Luckily gas was like .98 per gallon back in 97-98 so I didn't mind the bad gas milage.
