sorry to hear this dude. I cant believe how attached one can get to our pets. Grieve your loss and then go out and get yourself another. I know its difficult and you probably have no desire right now but my mom still thanks me for forcing her to get another puppy when the coyote got her first dog
It is so weird as I was reading what you had typed it reminded me of my parents red dachshund that follows my dad everywhere. I'm sorry to here about winnie, but at least you didn't make her suffer. You should post a picture of her in this thread.

I agree. My condolences go out to you also.
My buddy just had to put down his min-pin and old lab both within a month or so.
Ive got a little red dachsund too, and I lost him for a day and we were going crazy... can't imagine what your going through. best of luck and RIP Winnie.
Sorry for your loss, i honestly know the pain that you're going through. She would have wanted to you be happy as possible, and served her life to make you happy. Just try to remember all the good times you had, and keep your head up.
