do you carry a AAA card in your wallet? Or even a spare tire in your car? Why? Because just in case, the same reason many of us carry a firearm. Its not meant to be cool or to cop attitude because you can. Its more that I don't trust anyone I don't know personally.

I see your point but thats why I said some people. But going beyond a knife and in addition carrying a gun? I don't carry a trunk full of tires, just one if that. When does it become excesive? If your neighborhoods are that sketch then maybe the right to carry is indeed a necessity, idk, I guess I'd have to live your life to feel the need. Just my opinion and I fully respect yours too ;)

I also carry a bunch of stuff in my car, which is usually with me if I go anywhere. Everything from a flashlight, to flares, to traction sand, overnight bag, etc.
