    Attn: People in Washington state

I am planning a short trip down to Washington (from Vancouver, BC), and on the way down to Seattle, I'm going to be stopping at the 'new' outlet mall passed Bellingham.

Anyways, can you guys recommend a good place to visit in around Seattle, or on the way to Seattle? Also, a good cheap place to stay overnight?

Do bars and clubs actually check for IDs? Because my girlfriend and I are both still 20 :?

    Thanks.

most places I've been to check IDs consistently, even if you're much older than 21. not sure about seattle, I don't go down there much.

The biggest new mall is in Arlington if that is the one you are talking about. I hear it is really nice, for better deals stop by the outlet mall in Burlington. Most Seattle places check for ID at the door, for things to do are you talking adventure or sightseeing or what? If into music the music experience (someone help me on the name) in downtown Seattle (right by the Space Needle) is cool. Pike Place market and the Pier are cool to wander, check out a baseball game at Safeco Park, people watch at Capital Hill.

I think you're talking about EMP ;) You can try out the arcade there but I'm sure you have arcades up there too, but this one is supposidly really big and kool or something. You can go check out the ghetto, I hear that's an adventure in itself :D oh yeah try out seattle center too and the science museum if you'r einto that stuff

The arcade is gameworks. It was cool about 6 or 7 years ago when it was new and the games were all high tech but they haven't done much upgrading so it pretty much sucks now. It is big though, 2 floors, lots of racing games, a bar. During the day you can check out the Seattle Center which has the Experience Music Project, The Space Needle, rides, Pacific Science Center, Imax, and just a bunch of stuff. You could also check out the waterfront which has lots of shops and stuff or the Cinerama which is a huge, 1 screen digital movie theater. As for nightlife, theres still a lot to do but its very limited if youre under 21.
