What brought you all the way up here? Gatebil is getting world famous? :P

Well, when you're offered free tickets you get your ass out there even if you have to take time off unpaid from work! :D I had to finish a recent wedding off before editing Gatebil, but I upload one photo a day to our Facebook page (www.facebook.com/Aatomotion, the flickr is www.flickr.com/Aatomotion) before i'll finish off the whole set. I can see it being a yearly trek for me. Although i suppose you're only 1:40 flight away from the UK :D

I'll never forget Gatebil though. I was up 42+hours on the first day after going to work before a 5 hour drive to the airport, then the full day at gatebil. The after party, sleeping in drift monkeys display with their drift cars, Going around the track in the marshals car - having an rs200 overtake popping flames. and so much more!

Im supposed to be travelling to Ireland this weekend, covering round 3 of the drift allstars. Unfortunately work have messed my holiday up and i cant go anymore :(

I believe it was a custom rod built in turkey, I found the pic off of a facebook group. Thats the only thing i know about it, other than its bad to the bone!

I'll be honest, this was a total accident. I didn't expect the shutter to be open for so long, and the person walked into the frame just as it was closing. Shoot me an email and I'll send you the full sized version (poster size.) It is a cool shot though.
