No raw I was in Large JPEG when I shot that one thanks though but I can shoot you the original file if you want to give it a shot lol
MAX - lol Thanks for the attempt, I dont do much post processing as I kinda feel like its cheating since I cut my teeth a long time on film where you get it or you dont
Lighting was kinda tuff, it was cloudy in the foreground and big break over the Swan Range in the back ground, and the sun behind me was breaking though as well..... Should have just set up the tripod and shot a 3 bracket and HDRed it. I might play with that frame a little and see how well a single exposure HDR might play out....

A) Not true. From what I've read the great's in film were very good in the dark room, tweaking, processing, dodge/burning, etc...
B) Times change. For pure hobby and enjoyment it isn't relevant, but digital processing is equally part of the photography experience today. It's not like if you get it wrong you can create an amazing image. Sure if you're good enough in post you can make a good image. But really great images still come from really great starting photos.'
A few minutes in PS without playing around much and a small file...
Oh I know you can make shit happen in the dark room, ( I manually process Industrial Radiographs every day for a living and you can save a batch that was piss poorly exposed if your good in the dark room and catch it in time and know what your doing) but for 99% of people 15 years ago you dropped your film off at Ritz and it was run though an automatic processor and you got what you got.
I know Post Process is just a tool, and its something I should prolly endorse and get into a little more than I have.

Just got a used canon mark ii with a 24-70 and a 50mm 1.4. I have my 28mm 1.8 as well so I think I am good for a while. I havenet used a zoom lens in like 1 and a half years so it was cool using it on a new camera. Still have a lot to learn but it got me reinvigorated. The boxing shot below was done with the T2i and I have to say I am excited to have less noise at higher ISO so I can have cleaner interior shots. Especially with boxing where you want a high shutter speed and the room isn't especially bright.
Mark ii
This one below was done with my T2i
