Exactly. I have two 16GB class 10 cards. Even in RAW I wouldn't fill them up on a shoot, or even a weekend away. I do occasionally loose a card though, so I am very vigilant about backing up images on flickr, computer HDD, and external HDD. The computer is also being backed up to an external drive. Flickr is great because although it's a pain to download them all again, it's off site and free.

Yeah I use a 32gb sd card.ni have never filled it up. I typically reformat the card after a couple of imports into Lightroom. Embarrassingly enough, I only backed up my whole library to an external drive a week ago because my hard drive started corrupting files and clicking and lo and behold it failed...

        Back your shit up, people.

Picked up a Fuji X100t a few weeks back after moving to Austin, Tx, I wanted a smaller camera to everyday carry instead of my Canon 6d. So far I absolutely love it, took me a few days to get used to the controls but at this point my 6d feels foreign and only comes out of the bag when the weather is less than great. I do still love my 6d though!

Heres a few shots from the X100T , all of them are JPGs with light editing in Lightroom 4. I still need to work on my editing technique for these fuji files, they definitely respond differently than Canon files, although I have played with any Raw Fuji files yet.

Bruh. Crashplan. Meow. Externals suck, I plugged in a few that were only a few years old and only one could transfer files recently.

$120 or less a year for "family plan" unlimited cloud backup for up to 12 "family computers" in one household. That means you could have everything covered. But I still wouldn't trust just one backup source.

Realistically everyone should have 3 copies of what they consider sacred, and can not be lost. For most that's pictures, important documents, and other things.

                      1 Copy on your computer
(Ideally in a RAID like configuration, multiple drives sharing load.)

1 or More Copies backed up via on-site backup solution - File Server
(Again - ideally in a RAID like configuration.)

1 or More Copies backed up via off-site backup solution - Cloud / Hosted Server / Etc
(Once again in a RAID like configuration.)

Finally got the D3300 in, and did some playing. These were all shot in auto, I am not used to having such a broad ISO range. My 4/3rds Olympus only went to 1600, and was honestly useless past 800. Needless to say I am blown away by the low light capabilities.

These were shot in my relatively dim hallway.

                        Mmmmm Cookie.

Just snapped this on my way to work. Again auto mode, dirty car, new camera.

These are untouched straight off the card. Have to say I'm happy, even though its an entry level it is well ahead of my old E420.

Makes sense, and something I'll definitely keep in mind down the road.

Spent the entire day cleaning this guy with a water hose and an 8" brush yesterday.

Also, any criticism is welcome. I really want to sign my self up for some entry level photography classes one of these days.
