Nice, I like it. I'd think with a polarizer the sky would be a darker blue, especially with your back more or less to the sun.

I really do like E28s. They really are a sharp looking car.

My dad's car, It is a Factory Five. The track day one was done by a pro. And the Seattle one is taken by a Nikon D50(retired) and edited with Aperture. I replaced the D50 with a D7000.

I thought that when you use a polarizer you should be shooting at 45 degree angle to the sun to get the "best" effects.

I think it depends on the polarizer. It also depends on what your photo editing software does with the white balance.

This was shot with a polarizer, yes, if I remember correctly the sun is at 9 o'clock or so. I left the white balance where it was shot.

This was also shot with the same polarizer but I screwed with the white balance.

This was shot with the sun behind me same lens and polarizer as the shots above.

I usually rotate my polarizer around till the sky appears darkest. Or if I'm shooting into water, till I can see through the glare in the water.

How do you like the D7000? I sort of want one just for video work/backup camera. Have you used the video at all?

That is Mt Lassen about an hour before Ishot these...

If you look carefully you can see a HUGE solar flare in this shot.

Polarizers and filters are fun ;)

I really like the D7000, it is a great camera. But I HATE trying to take videos on it. I have the extra power pack attached which has a portrait shutter button which I really like. Plus I don't think that a camera should be a camcorder.

There is a reason Nikon doesn't make video cameras. (As far as I know.) Using a DSLR for video is the dumbest idea I've heard of in a long time. Its the wrong shape, its all kinds of bad. Yes, I know people do it, but I still say using a DSLR for any sort of video is the dumbest thing I've heard in a long time.

Yes the D7000 is a good camera, but I might go for the D600 if/when its released, that is as long as its not geared toward video the way the D800 and D4s are.
