    Friend I used to share shop with is trying to sell my things on craigslist, lil help?

    Hey guys,
    So this prick I used to be friends with and struggled sharing a shop with for a year changed the locks to the place before the date I was paid up until (about a week ago). The day I wanted to pick the rest of my stuff up he wouldn't meet me to let me in, and since then we've been whacked with snow and I haven't been able to get there at the couple of times he said were okay.

    Today just to get a rise out of me I hope he put up a vague craigslist post and emailed me a link to it.

    I had a few people email him already, waiting back to see if he responds like he's actually going to sell or not.

    If y'all could do me a favor and flag as spam or prohibited I would appreciate it. Going down there tomorrow night after class to sort things out, I highly doubt he'll actually sell anything by then (or has the balls to in general), but I'd feel better if the ad wasn't up.


    EDIT: With r3v's help we flagged the 1st post. But he put up another one. I'm gonna go down there in the next 24 hours so it's not such a huge deal, but if you guys could flag this one as prohibited that would be appreciated. LINK: http://boston.craigslist.org/gbs/pts/2195084873.html

    OR EVEN BETTER YET, email him as if you're interested in buying his audi stuff. Ask him to deliver cuz your S4 is down. Lol. Im gonna email him from all my extra email addresses now

        I'd really enjoy using my fists, would provide much more enjoyment than the cold and impersonal 9mm, but he's quite petty and I bet he'd be happy to take a beating just so he could call the cops and sue me and torture me as best he could through the legal system. He's done plenty of things already while we were shop-partners that made me want to beat his face in, I'm going to try to keep up my long and frustrating record of self control and just get my crap and never speak to his sheister ass ever again.

            I agree actually. Getting into fisticuffs has always been my preferred method of violence. And thats a, .40 btw. ;)

            lol @ "long and frustrating record of self-control"... I cant say I have that problem and its precisely due to that reason. But Ive got the criminal record to show for it.

                I see you just up a CL posting and that you had some E30 seats...are they cloth or leather? On top of that are they "comfort seats" or "sport seats", the difference being the side bolsters. Sorry I'm a bit picky but if you have what I'm looking for I'd make the 45ish minute drive.

                  But hey I'd go ahead and have people stop emailing since a good few of us have already sent emails...it would look fishy to your "friend" if there were suddenly dozens of queries. I feel like the few that were sent would get you what you need so edit your first post request's maybe?

                            Have you tried talking to a cop about what is legally feasable? Or do you have to wait until some of your personal items are sold so that you can make a claim against him?

                            Or have some Irish friends from "the town" make a point for you. As R3V members we can contribute to the operation with donations... ;-)
