Classic Video Games and Systems- Whats in your collection?

I'm thinking of building up a classic video game collection..acquiring all the cool games that I used to play as a kid. I'm talking like 1988 and up..Nintendo..Sega...Gameboy Classic.

I've seen some guys with some pretty elaborate set ups and collections. Who's into this, and whats in your collection?

haha no not my collection or my pic. Just for a visual aid..I haven't started yet.
I don't think I'll focus so much on rare games or games that are worth a ton..I'm more thinking games that I had fun playing back in the day..that would be good for random drunken party nights.

I have nintendo with the golden zelda and box it came in. Duck hunt with two guns! such a blast to play. And N64 with Perfect Dark(made multi player work) You can buy it on the 360 in the arcade. Revamped and graphics cleaned up.

My NES games were Mario/Duck hunt, the origonal Legend of Zelda, a few of the megaman games, and Bomberman 2. It was short lived because that was bought used before grabbing the SNES, which I spent all my time on. When I got the N64 mom thought the SNES was useless and sold it at a tag sale along with the dozens of games I collected.

And from them on it was all "must haves" for the N64 and up. I'm a Nintendo fan boy who had every classic and recently bought the Wii Mario bundle since that was too good to pass up...and because the 360 isn't as much as a "party console" as I'd like.

Not really for collecting...but they all provided great childhood memories.

I recently just sold all my systems on eBay; NES, SNES Sega genesis, Sega Saturn, Sega gamegear, N64. Regret it everyday.

Note: 1988 is not classics, I have a 1982 ColecoVision (In box), an Intellivision, Atari Pong (in box), a couple of 2600's, Commodore 64, a few broken MasterSystems, and that's only counting 1st and 2nd gen consoles.

Fuck all that shit. I dont wanna lug around my childhood to every home and every place I rent and own. Sold or threw everything away. Only have 1 single Xbox 360 now.

But I did had multiple NES systems, SNES, Sega Genesis, Sega Saturn, Virtual boy, N64, Game gear, Game Boy, Psp first gen and second gen, 4 Xbox 360s's, 2 Xbox first gens, 2 Playstation 1's, 1 PS2 in full size and 2 in Slim... Think thats it? lol I say multiple because I had an issue with destroying my controllers and consoles when things "didnt go right" in the game for me.

I guess everyone will have a different version of "classic". I was too young myself to ever have or care about an Atari. Though I do still have my dads old "Vectrex" system, with Tank Commander and some other game.
