That's bullshit. First off, the guy's friends don't really seem to be too worried when their friend just nods off while standing playing a video game. Better still, they don't even mind at all when some guy comes out of a room with a camera crew, grabs the guy and drags him off, straps him to a gurney, and wheels him down the street into a strange, dimly lit, empty building.

Furthermore, a human being cannot just be immediatley "dropped" into the hypnotic, almost vegitative state that he was in through being subjected to a series of a few flashing lights. If that were the case, every kid that ever played Wipeout or Dance Dance Revolution, or watched an episode of Pokemon would be a vegetized pile of flesh in no time flat. On top of that, I doubt a horn blast would slam him out of it that quickly. Did he also just not happen to notice that his gun was a paintball gun? Even if you aren't a paintball player, you've got to know what a paintball gun looks like, added to the fact that you'no doubt know what a real gun sounds like, and it doesn't sound like a paintball gun.

What brit's watch for entertainment is fucked... Whenever I go over there to see my family I know that unless I catch a 5 year old rerun of Friends or an episode of Top Gear, anything other than the news will be a waste of time.

But yeah... complete bullshit. I would just let some strange guy with a camera take a friend of mine out of a pub.
