Yep.. you can't bring anything in. I forget exactly how much drinks are but I am going to say that I remember paying $5 for a bottle of water and about $8 or $10 for a 6 oz cup that was 2/3 ice and 1/3 red bull and vodka.
The double decker is the VIP lounge that is closest to the entrance to the festival. It's a temporary building shelter sorta thing with big vinyl walls and an upstairs with a bunch of lounge chairs, couches, bar, and a deck to stand out on. The other VIP lounge is on top of the hill at the back of the park close to the water.

Woot! todays the first day of the fesitval!
Me and my buddy hopped in the E46 and left NY at around 3pm Wed, drove through the night, and arrived at the hotel in Miami at around 11:30. All went smooth until about 50 miles out of the city i got a fucking flat on one of my Rear M wheels. Had no luck finding a tire locally, but thankfully, tire rack had a warehouse in Georgia, so $220 later i had a tire shipped overnight to a local tire place. Now im just waiting on them to call me when it arrives and they mount it on the rim so i can get it back on the car. Felt like a douche rolling around on a spare on Ocean drive, but what are you gonna do? :???:
But yea, once i get my wheel back were gonna hit up the festival. The set times were posted the other night, so today the main sets were gonna scope out are Benassi, Royksopp, Tiesto, and of course, Pendulum
Ill be back later with how it went

First day was awesome. We arrived a lil later then we wanted to b/c we could NOT get ahold of a cab for some reason, and when we did, sadly we either couldnt hear them or understand them, or both. So at that point i said fuck it and took the E46 down, which was an awesome decision, found parking really close and traffic wasnt bad at all.
Saw the later end of Benassi's set, then walked around and scoped out the festival before going over to see Roysopp, which was excellent. After that, rolled over and checked out BT's mixing for a bit, then went over to the main stage for the main event and basically the number one group i wanted to see, Pendulum :o
Fucking epic, ive been waiting to see them for years, and they did not disappoint. i was right up front hanging on the railing (i make it a rule for myself at concerts, either im in the back chilling, or im at the very front, hanging on the railing, that way i dont get slammed around) Only negative of there set was they only got an hour to play, but man, what an hour! Fought my way to the back after Pendulum and caught a bit of Tiesto before rolling out a lil early to beat traffic.
Over all excellent first day, one of the things i really like about this festival is that you can get away from the masses and chill, but you can still get a good view of every stage, they def did a good job setting up the event.
Today we're gonna check out Dirty Vegas (DJ set, live is sunday), Kaskade, Simian Mobile Disco, Boys Noize, Moby, and the two big ones, Deadmau5 and Underworld! ill be back later to update, heres a pic of Pendulum's set

Just got in from Day 2, holy shit im BEAT, but extremely satisfied haha
Got there around 5:30 today, and made our way over to the Live stage to see the beginning of Simian Mobile Discos set before hitting up the live stage to see Kaskade. Then headed back over to the Live stage to see Boys Noize, love his style. Afterwords, we walked over to the Carl Cox and Friends stage to see Moby's set, which was equally awesome. Finally, we headed back to the Main stage and got right up front to see Underworld's incredible set, followed by the one and only Deadmau5.
I love Deadmau5, always have, prob always will, hes really unbelievable. Was pretty stoked when i saw them wheeling his cube out, didnt think they would b/c of all the artists. Halfway through his set i noticed his LED light bars were raised back into the top of the stage. Then he played Sofi Needs a Ladder, and behind him a platform began to raise with Tommy Lee on a fucking drum set! i couldnt believe it, ive seen Deadmau5 twice within 6 months and he does NOT disappoint
Tomorrows the final day! we're gonna be there all day tomorrow, a lot of my favorite artists are going on, BT, Chemical Bros, Dirty Vegas, and much more
heres a shot of the main stage right before we headed up to the front for underworld
