looking for a 2nd e30 with 6k to play with any suggestions

Well in spring ill be selling my 944 because parts are just to expensive and so is my insurance and its time for a 951 or a project e30. But im leaning for a e30 cause i love driving my ix. I'm thinking about a 325i and slaming the shit out of it pretty much and doing an m-tech ii kit, also im time once i save up more money i wanna either stroke or boost it not sure but its gonna be one or the other. How far do you think 6k will get for a low millage e30 casue i don't wanna blow it all on just the car i wanted to have a good bit left so i can play which shouldn't be much of a problem cause they usually seam to sell pretty cheap.
So what would you do?

mmmmm.... i would says first of all make up your mind with what u want to do... its easy to spend 6k and not be happy.. Do a lot of research and compare prices.. good luck

Definitely do your research before pulling the trigger. As said above, you'll blow through $6k in no time if you don't have your ideas in line. The more you screw up and change your mind, the more money you waste.

This is 100% true. I've changed my mind so many times and each time has costed me hundreds of dollars. Multiply those hundreds by 5 and you get thousands. This is a sad, sad story.

I've been around 944's all my life so there's nothing new there, and a 951 will run my upward of 8 to 10 grand for anything even close to as clean as my n/a so thats the big reason i want i nice e30 becsaue i know i can find a clean one that at leasts starts in my price range.

Well my ix already got over 200k and I have done so much rust repair its pretty much just the winter car. And Im looking for something I can play with and It will probably be off the road for a few weeks at a time painting it or whatever so ill need the ix as my 2nd car to have something to drive.
