High school "acceptance week"

So apparently my old high school had an acceptance week to raise "awareness" of gays, (apparently people still don't know they are there.) it raised a little controversy apparently. It appears straight people want rights also.

That started a big debate so then she posted this.

Just to correct Ken, tolerance implies you tolerate something. That means to be able to bear or allow liberty. That is all, doesn't mean you have to like. Sounds like she is tolerant and, since you are planning to harass her for how she feels, intolerant.

its a double standard. to value something is to want others to value it too, often at the expense of their values.

that said, tolerance is a value. yet to value tolerance is to want others to value it as well, even if they do not.
