Please tell me you didn't thin Borat was actually a documentary...

And I don't know if I posted this already, but the best documentary film I've ever seen is called "SCRATCH", it's a documentary about turntable DJs, it's amazing. I'm not a DJ, I'm not really THAT into hip-hop, shit, I've never even used a turntable. But the feel of this movie, the culture, the style, and the power of it is just intense.

Indie Game: The Movie. It's on Netflix, I thought it was really interesting. Gives you glimpse of what the independent game designers go through.

Haven't watched it yet, but I'll put it on my list.

Surely you watch alot of the Vice.com stuff? I really dig so much of the stuff they do, to the point I pay for the subscription and annual photo issue.

You'd like a doc called "H.H. Holmes: America's First Serial Killer." It is extremely interesting to get a grasp on the mindset of a killer that used the Chicago Worlds Fair of 1893 to lure victims into his own specially-made building designed by him with murder very much in mind. We had to read a book in my AP Language class called "Devil in the White City" which chronicled Holmes' work. It was extremely good and the documentary really provoked a fair bit of thought.

Another really good documentary is "C.S.A.: Confederate States of America," which, as you could probably guess, explores an alternate timeline where the Confederacy won the Civil War. Very interesting and really proposes and addresses many possible outcomes.

Want to watch a slow motion train wreck?

70 year old dude marries Miss Florida. He's the "King" of times-share condo scams...Tons of money, private jets, and the biggest home in America..and then the market crashes.....Whoops!

Don't watch this if you have an expensive TV - you'll want to punch them in the ear lobe.

                --------------------------

Want to see the best in people?

                Craigslist Joe.

This is not to be missed. Watch it with your girlfriend - she'll dig it too.

It starts out slow - and is slow - but worth the watch...

                --------------------------

A really hard to find - but totally worth the 5 buck of the DVD on amazon (about the only place you can find it)

The Journey.. If your a college student - this is the doc for you.....

If you can find a copy send it to me, I'll send you a free OBC senor. I lost mine....

                ------------------------

Everyone says "Man on Wire" is awesome - it really sucks. Avoid it.

amazing feet? yes. Not worth the painful hour of french dudes taking.

                -----------------------------

If You Can Stomach It - hop on to Hulu and watch "Intervention"

As funny as the preview is - it's really hard to watch...

this is gonna sound stupid, but has anyone seen that mermaid documentary? lol let me just clarify before i say what i'm about to say, i dont smoke weed, i have a job, got good grades, and am not insane, but that shit totally made me believe in mermaids!
i think i saw it on discovery, and i think its called aquatic mammals or something.
its honestly really interesting. like even if you dont believe it its trippy what they say.

its definitely worth a watch, however the end is, mmm, not the best however.

Watched Jiro Dreams of Sushi a few nights ago.

                      Quality documentary.

Not so much about sushi as it tireless dedication to one's craft in the pursuit of perfection.

I saw it too. It was indeed intriguing though a total sham. Seemed plausible the way they presented the facts behind mermaids and I thought the Aquatic Ape theory did make sense...to a point.
