                Isn't a red dwarf a dying star?

                EDIT: NVM - that's a white dwarf. It seems like the presence of water on this planet is speculative.

                  NASA released a wealth of new data today (Feb. 2) from its planet-seeking Kepler space telescope, significantly increasing the number of potential new alien planets, and revealing that smaller worlds and multi-planet systems may be more common than previo


                  Saw this recently, Kepler has found 54 potential planets in the habitable zone, 5 of the potential planets are both Near-Earth size and in the habitable zone.

                  It has found over 1,200 potential planets so far and 68 Earth-sized targets. It is looking at just one four-hundredth of the sky too.
