69 GTX, 383 automatic. Fresh restoration by a well known Mopar restoration shop. They wanted $3300 for it, which unfortunately was a bit out of reach for a parts driver back in 1990 (21 years ago).'88 325is: Diamond Schwartz; 210K miles; Koni SA; H&R springs; poly bushings (sold)

If it had a 383 in it, then it wasnt a GTX or the Mopar shop didnt know what they was doing ;)
I passed on a 71 Challenger R/T 383 4 speed. It had a tunnel ram on it at the time but me and the seller didnt meet eye to eye with the price, eventhough i had the cash on me. Then a month later i found out he sold it for what i offered lol. Although if i did buy it, it most likely would of just been another car i drove and then sold later down the road... But i do regret selling a lot of cars i had!!!

Back in high school I had a chance to buy a 1975 911s that had been hit by lightning. Everything electrical was cooked and needed to be replaced, but the owner only wanted $1500 for it. My parents told me if I pulled all A's they would loan me the money, but hat did not happen.
I ended up getting a 1958 rag top sunroof bug for $250 with a blown motor and my own money instead.seien Sie größer, als Sie erscheinen

You may be right... or I'm wrong about the engine, or more likely it was just a nicely restored Satellite with a big-block. It was over 20 years ago and I didn't exactly have time to go over the car with a fine-tooth comb and they didn't have it for very long. Plus, at 20 years old, I could barely afford the base insurance on my rusty Subaru, much less a big-block Mopar.
The shop is reasonably well known for restoring Mopars:
They were in a different location when I delivered parts to them.'88 325is: Diamond Schwartz; 210K miles; Koni SA; H&R springs; poly bushings (sold)

my dad and I had the chance to buy a 1967 Camaro RS Convertible, white with blue stripes, interior, and top. It was immaculate, one owner in a barn in nowhere, KS where my dad grew up. We always dreamed of that car, it was for sale for 12k about 12 years ago or so. We thought we couldn't swing it at the time...sigpic89 M3Comment

I regret getting rid of a whole lot of cars.
About the only one I can recall that I missed was a 71 1802 that sat outside of the garage I rent. guy wanted 400 dollars and was a one owner car (his mother), I said I would come by one day and pay for it, 2 years later it was gone and some idiot long haired rocker dude bought it-- been just sitting in a garage since then. I still think I am going to get that car one of these days!
I also regret not buying my mothers fully restored (frame off) 57 Bel Air, she died a few years ago from cancer. My father hit hard times a few years ago and started selling some of his collection. I bought the 55 and didn't realize the 57 was going to go to until it was already gone.
heres a pic of the 57. you can see the nose of my 55 in that pic too!

3 stand out,
#1 71' Dodge Challenger, guy wanted way too much for ($500.00) too much rust (I see worse heaps selling for $20k = now...)
#2 70'Cuda, passed because it had "only" had a 340..and it was too much dough ($2500.oo, mint body)
68' Chevelle "S" Mint condition in every way, 327 4 barrel, horse shoe shifter, My buddys dad worked repo for a bank, he needed to see $1500 for it, when I was in HS in 90' though, it may as well have been a quarter Million, lol.
any one of these would have heavily contributed to early retirement now...Sigh...Comment
