It's not theft. He bought and paid for a service. Or is remarketing a product under a different brand also theft? That's not to say it isn't wrong or that it isn't plagiarism. It is. He deserves to be kicked out for doing it.

No it actually isn't. Plagiarism in this case and IP Theft are two very different things. IP Theft is illegal by law, buying internet papers is legal.

He paid for a service the same way a business owner pays a secretary to write letters and emails on his behalf. That being said he is still a tool for claiming he did the work and breaking the rules of his university.

Your actions speak volumes about your personality. I would much rather take my poor grade than pay someone else, lie about it to my prof, and cheat my way to an A.
