Here, if you change your engine to a completely diferent engine, you have to pay the displacement taxes and legalize the car again, witch is expensive, really expensive, we are talking 2k euros to legalize like a 1.8 engine, hence no swaps (unless like in the e30's you can swap everything apart from the block)

Portuguese government is not swap freindly, we have a massive displacement tax, if i would change to a bigger engine i would pay a shitload of money to make it legal.

It is repairable, but I would hit up some wrecked and price out a door, hood, fender and core support before you make the decision. Just leave the back until you decide if you want to paint it or not. It would make a decent gas meiser cruiser though.seien Sie größer, als Sie erscheinen
