dont give up on her no matter what r3v says Just give up on her for now so to speak. People are good if you strip away the chemicals... Distance yourself and take care of you. This woman needs to hit the proverbial bottom. You wouldnt have married a piece of shit. Drugs fuck people up. Some more than others. Id be dead a long time ago if everyone gave up on me.. Theres a good person under all the lies and deceit and addiction

Convert her to a stranger in the short term. She is now a criminal.

I know there is a pain inside of you, which it feels like only she can fill. But she isn't the person you love. She is a stranger using you as a foothold to climb the ladder of addiction. Her entire brain is fucking useless.

But shut that shit up and be a man(not saying you arent). Do it for her own good.

      Harsh consequences.

Not everyone learns when they hit rock bottom. My cousin lived with me for 3 years and i supported him through all his troubles. Got him admitted into rehab and stood by him the entire time when everyone turned their back on him. He got out, i helped him get a place, a job and for what? to relapse and start using again. I went through this with him two more times. The second before last time I literally pulled him out of the gutter where he wouldve died from an OD if i didnt find him. Where is he now? Using somewhere. No idea where, some people dont want your help. In reality you may be hurting them more by being an enabler.

Enabling and being there for someone after they've hit rock bottom and not "kicking the bitch to the curb" are two different things.

            +1

Everyone make mistakes, especially falling into the habits of taking drugs. I do also believe there are some good in people that are in this type of situation. I understand that it's fucked up what she did to you but after you blow off some steam, I think you should try your best to support her. You did say you loved her. Where would we be if we all just gave up on each other at the first sign of trouble...?

            Goodluck

everyones "bottom" is different. Some never get it. those are the ones who are dead. But as long as youre still breathing you have another recovery in you. Thats all Im saying. I dont know much but i do know addiction from both sides. And I also know the difference between enabling and being there and helping someone. Ive been through that same scenario you described more times than I can count . Some get it and some take longer
