I got pulled over yesterday in front of a forum members house, stupid small town cop said i had a tail light out, his partner told me he would tell me what side while his "boss" ran my paperwork, got in hit the brakes and he said "they both appear to work but this one is dim" other cop comes back and says gonna let you go with a warning just get it fixed. I had to try so hard to bite my lip

I had a fucktard state cop write me a ticket for a tail light out in my e28. Even though I fixed it right there. Just a little corrosion on the terminals.


I then proceed down the road and it goes out again (check panel warned me). I pass in front of the county sheriff's office and a sheriff pulls me over for tail light out. I show him the ticket and he tells me to have a nice night. I fix the light again.

This all happened within 1/4 mile.

I took some free sandpaper I found laying around and cleaned the corrosion off the contacts that night when I got home.

I then had to buy a bulb, which wasn't the problem, and show the clerk of court the receipt so it would be dropped.

Waste-of-time...and $2 for a bulb I didn't need.

Lesson? I dislike strongly state and city cops. County cops are cool (based on this and other experiences with state/city/county cops.)

1st I would have told him NO FUCK YOU, you hooked it up right there you can unhook where it is.

2ed I would have said no fuck you again mail me my bill I am not paying you with a CC here on the side of the road where you have write all my info down and steal my info at your leisure on the way back to the shop.

I would then have talked to the office about it and see what they would do about it. Then if were shit heads about it, I would go get 120 bucks in Pennies (yes 12,000 pennies) and put them LOSE not in roll's into old 1 gallon ice cream pails. Wait till 430 5 oclock on the due date of the bill and walk in their office and pay it up like that.

If they want to fuck with you and your time for a 300 foot tow to make the drivers life easier, and charge you for it, well make it as hard on them as you can. If its like it is here in the states pennies are 100% legal tender and you they HAVE to take it as form of payment.

Virginia cops are fucking assholes. They pull you over and try to find something wrong. I got written up for an "Illegal Exhaust". Which is just a UUC RS36 Catback.

Staunton City cops gave my friend a ticket for "chirping" the tires in his 5sp 318 Dodge 1500. He was trying to get out before a line of traffic and went over the curb. Cop said he didn't stop before entering the highway. What highway? It was @ BK on the boulevard.

I had a county cop show up after some asshole lady called me in when I wrecked my 300zx. Bascially he told me I had to tow the car. I told him my friend lived 5 mins away. It was around 10pm.

He said, "I tell ya what. You see that corner down there?"

"Yessir"

"Well, once I get around that corner, you never saw me, I never saw you."

Dude dropped the wreckless driving charge in court and all I had to do was driving school.

Thus my opinion: Staties suck, citys suck, countys are cool (if you're from their county)
