Maybe if all the people donating money to African countries donated it to groups willing to overthrow Africa's corrupt governments, some of the aid would actually filter down to the people who need it. More than enough aid goes to Africa IF it was actually getting past the corrupt governments that trickle it out to the masses. You don't burn more money in a boiler to heat a drafty house; you spend the money to fix the leaks. The management in most of the African nations needs to be changed before any amount of aid will have the desired effects...

Wow. It's stories like these, the tsunami, 9/11, etc, that make me like avoiding the paper, tv, and radio. "Living under a rock" and not hearing of all the horrible things that happen in this world has its benefits.
