Eh it's not that tough to fill it all up, but to some guys it's just a ball swinging contest really. Same can be said about 800hp cars.

I have 5TB over 4 hdd's and am using roughly half of it right now.

Some is for work but most of it is because I'm ocd and I love to collect things.

1TB = Client Website, Video and Audio Recording Backups (75% full)
1TB = Personal File backup (only about 25% full)
3TB = Movie collection
1TB = Music Collection (currently sitting at 544GB total)

The Movie and Music collections split two 2TB HDDs. The Music collection is going to be moved its own 1TB hdd to free up space and then given RAID support for faster file searching. The Client hdd will also be receiving raid support. I haven't decided if it's absolutely necessary to add RAID for the Movie collection just yet.

I'm running a highly modified version of XBMC Confluence. It's really easy to fill up space when the average Bluray movie is 30GB and the avg DVD is 7GB. I currently have over 400 movies. I'm considering upgrading to windows 7 but right now I have windows xp sp3 running quite well.
