These are episodes from a couple of seasons ago, correct?
Yeah, they're actually made up of segments from different shows put together to make one US show.
That's really weird. I have all of last season, and for some reason I'm missing the season before. I do remember the episode with the GT3 RS, but I don't remember the Maserati.
top gear is why TV was created, pretty much everything else is garbage... lol
so yeah, the other day i saw "the stig". i was on the I-5 going north around the LaJolla area, and then out of nowhere comes a yellow Lotus Elise. license plate = "THESTIG"
don't know if it was the actual stig, but i do remember I3uller saying he saw him in Laguna, and actually asked him about the license plate at a stop light. there was an auto X that day, so he was prolly down there for that, and was just heading home to laguna. :)
Yeah.. thank god TG is over here. I would never miss it when I went over to England to visit the family. The second the small airport down the road from me goes up for sale Im going to get way over my head in debt and buy it.
My favorite episode was the race from their studios in england to the south of france.
I'm sure this link is a repost, its from BBC's website so its legal: Broadband episode ~ 25 minutes - requires Real Player
Those three are seriously the best combo for a car show. They are intelligent. They know what they are talking about. They don't hold their punches. Plus their sense of humor can only be classified as bordering on the mentally ill, which I like.
From 10-11pm EST on wednesdays you can be sure I won't be making any posts.
Classis quotes from the show:
Ferrari 360 CS vs. Porsche GT3 RS -
Jeremy Clarkson: "... I consider Ferrari to be a scaled down version of God!"
Mercedes McClaren SLK -
Guy on street: "Is that your car mate?"
Richard Hammond: "Oh yeah" :evil grin and look at camera:
Can't wait till next wednesday... hmm... never thought I would look forward to wednesday.
That Maserati was one of the most boring cars I've ever seen, and it handled like SHIT! Did you guys notice the ungodly amount of bodyroll it had, even when he switched the suspension to the sport setting? Even my wife said that it didn't look like it handled very well for a sports car.
It's a stupid and as wonderful as owning a pet elephant. ~ Clarkson talking about the new Dodge Viper.
So many great episodes. I've only seen it on speedvision twice, and haven't caught any that have been on since it's on Discovery. Ohwell the internet roxxors.

I love the episode with the Morgan Aero 8 GT (I heart that car) and the Ring. My favorite race one was the airplane versus the Ferrari.
