Busted: Feds Shut Poker Sites, Leave Players Hanging

I had a few hundred on full tilt i guess Im beat. Sucks to be someone whos full time job and source of income is on one of the sites that was shut down . I know there are people with hundreds of thousands tied up on FT or pstars.

My understanding is that the FBI seized the domain names, the servers should still be online and accessible via IP address. If the clients require a working domain name you should be able to create one yourself. I haven't looked into this much though, but I doubt the government was able to take down servers outside of the US.

When i try to run FT it says theres an update then just says "error could not download update"

Their domain still resolves to the full-tilt ip address. This takedown wasn't on the domain level.

Exactly and as far as I can tell for now our money is locked down. I feel bad for the guys who lost a huge nut. I doubt were getting our money back any time soon if at all.
