Oh this is what they do every time I fly home, always seem to get the late flight and the last one in from sea/tac and delayed.

But its part of the one thing I like about flying, small airports!!! My home airport has 3 gates, the airport I fly into at the shop has about 10, its the conection through ord and sea/tac or the atl and slc. Parts that suck.

Don't really have any horror stories. Except when flying OUT of Nassau, get drunk BEFORE you have to stand 2 hours in customs/security.

It helps that all my trips start/end in a large, organized........but fairly slow airport. In the morning, I can go from being dropped off at the door, to checked-in/security/waiting at our departure gate in about 20 minutes.

When we flew back from the bahamas. Our airport was so dead when landed at 11pm, our pilot came to a stop on the runway and turned around to go back to the terminal.

1989. Mongolian airlines. AN24 plane (two propeller, about 50 person hold).

Taking off at Irkuck (Russia) from dirt strip left wheel popped. The speed was too high for the plane to stop, so it took off. Went up, dropped fuel and went to an airport at Ulan-Ude with concrete strip.

Every passenger was scared of how the landing is going to look like (in AN24 you can see the gear through the window). Pilot landed on front and right wheels only, leaving left one in the air until the last moment of braking.

Unbelievable landing for a passenger craft. Scary. I was 9 y.o.

^ uh, i would have filed a complaint.

i once lost 2 days of a month vacation in greece. my ex and i had a connecting flight to nyc, then to athens, on a flight with a different airline.... well they bumped us off the connecting flight..... needless to say, we didnt make the flight to athens.

they gave us a taxi voucher for the trip home and back. but it wasnt enough, so we had to give the guy both vouchers. and take the metro + bus back to the airport the next day. airline 1 flew us to germany, and airline 2 flew us from germany to greece. flight to germany we were given the very last 2 seats on the plane. mile high club was attained. so it wasnt a complete loss. :)

and in the midst of all this... since our baggage was checked. it got misplaced in nyc for a few days...

I had a flight from New York to Warszawa on Lot. If I rested my back on my seat, it would fall really fast on the knees of the person behind me. He was old, he was polish and he had bad knees. Plane was full so I had to sit with no support for 8+ hours.

And we wonder why the air lines are going broke.

I never had flying experiences like that. mine are always delayed, canceled, shitty routing, have to go out and then back into security to change terminals or airlines all with a 30min layover screaming babies and unruly kids and the guy that never wants to shut up next you for 3 hours and all the shit mentioned above in some combination or other. Yeah I hate flying

Well, you always have the kids screaming nonstop and kicking the back of your seat.. Or you have a cougar on drugs talking to her 22 year old man candy in baby talk licking his cheeks and telling him how sexy and hot he is in baby talk.. Or you have two rows of old people who keep farting and it smells like something crawled up their ass and died. Or you have two ghetto bitchy black flight attendants with attitudes and telling an american soldier to turn his ipod off, they know that "aint the way that thing turns off" cuz "I aint stupid ." . I've flown/do fly a lot back and forth to Florida.. There's been too many experiences lol. But gratz on all the winz from the airport. I hope your flight will be better than mine were!

started a topic Whats your worst airline story!!!

    Whats your worst airline story!!!

So at the moment im sitting in the airpot running off the "five guys" wifi because the airport charges to use their internet.........
waiting for my departure to Charlotte and then my flight down to Alabama to pick up my newly purchased 1989 325is =D
Since everything that can go wrong goes wrong i was given some BS about the plane changing and being to small to accommodate all our passengers so i went to the desk to see if i could change my 90$ ticket to anything else but still on time. Turns out there was! so i was given a paid taxi fair from BWI to DC and now im waiting to fly out to charlotte, and then down to my seller. turns out the cab was 109$ weived, the DC to Charollete was a 260$ ticket and the Charrolete to DHN was a 680$ ticket all paid for by US Airways. did i make out good, i think yes........

Did i mention the airlines gave me a check for 248$
Conforti Performance Chips here i come

Sitting here got me thinking about all those horor stories you hear about durring airline travel. So im asking whats your worst experience, or even your best experience traveling! (where were you going and for what) lastly was it worth it
Working...
