There's a good saying, "If it ain't broke, don't fix it".
oh well, we have 16 year old cars.... it wouldn't hurt to replace some parts, but I've very bothered by people taking brand new cars and start to change these out for no reason. Ugh. Why get a new car and then get a suspension.....makes NO sense! That's why old cars are better. Shit breaks -> upgrade. oh well. people ought to have an answer to "why"
Because some people want their car to look better or handle better?

Meh. I guess I see it better if it could be like a Scion and you start off with what you want instead of getting rid of 50% of the car parts brand new.

Seems like a waste.
Well it's usually not a good investment, but it's certainly not pointless.
Besides, have you seen the prices on optional wheel/suspension packages from the factory? They're ridiculous sometimes.

I just prefer not to remove perfectly good shit unless its for a really good reason. I mean, like, hey this car part is 100% functional and works fine.....let's take it out......
But heh, I drive an E30....i get to replace broken shit all the time.
My mom is just rubbing off on me. What's wrong with XXXX part I'm changing.....?? Like my diff. I dunno. Just want to have to be sure there's a good reason to do something, or it's pointless IMO. (my opinion I'm too generous with sharing).
If there is a need for an upgrade cool. But to do it just to do it..... a lot of talk on the forums are about being "worth it" or not. ....Maybe I'm just frugal now I'm in college.
