Nobody around here knows how to drive a manual gearbox.

MANY reasons:

-Seller's regret
-Fun to drive
-Not a douchemaster category BMW (sorry E90's)
-Classic/sort of rare car
-Ease of maintenance
-Broad amount of swaps, upgrades, etc.

I could keep going on, but you guys get the idea. Plus my particular one is clean for its age.

It's just a car. Who cares how much money, time, sweat, and blood went into it. In the end, this investment will deterioate and depreciate (or appreciate). There is always something bigger and better out there.
