I however am not one of these rich fuckers despite my owning a BMW. As Josh said, I only see soccer moms driving them trying to multitask and not succeding...

Why does everyone hate moderately wealthy people so much? Strive to become wealthy, don't bitch and complain about those that are. Excess is what makes america great. If everyone bought a simple modest sedan and didn't splurge on stuff, this wouldn't be america..it'd be f'n Canada.

No hatred of the moderately, or even the very wealthy here. I plan to be one or the other one day myself. And while I enjoy excess, and think it's a great thing, it's like others, best in moderation. The people I'm describing are the ones that I despise, this influx of So-Cal über-snob attitude washing north to Oregon like a burst dam. They think that driving a huge automobile that is so big it must be safe, excuses them from the responsibility of learning how to drive the fucking thing.

Is the H2 any more ridiculous than the X5, a similarly priced disco wagon? How is it any worse than a Mercedes Benz M class, or a $48k "King Ranch" F150 crew cab with a 3 1/2 foot bed.

It's one of the few things that GM still makes money on, who cares if it's ugly or gets bad mileage? My biggest beef with it is the lame motor, they need to run the 454HO motor out of the 3/4 ton avalanche in there.

With America being what it is (freedom to do what you want, when you want, how you want), these folks are entitled to buy whatever tickles their fancy. The way I see it, the hate for H2s seems to stem from two sources: 1) those who are jealous/envious/small-dicked or 2) those who find them impractical for city-bound transportation. I happen to fall in the latter camp. I could care less what image you convey while steering that tank around town or how much you paid for it. Whoopie-fuckin-do.....you make more than me and you can see more from up there, how proud you must be. Whatever :roll:

Please don't paint me as some kind of card-carrying tree hugger who feels everyone should be driving around in a Prius. Quite the contrary. For what an H2 goes for, I would go get a clean 993 coupe instead. If I'm spending that kind of dough on a car, it had better handle good and go quicker than greased grease.
