I've only had my android device for a few months, but so far I love it so more more than my iphone, if that helps at all. I love all the customizations and how smooth everything runs. There's no freezing up while running applications or surfing the web. I've had unresponsive touch screen at times but it's only happened twice. With the iphone it was a daily to weekly occurrence. The battery life is bad if you don't have app killer or close the running apps, but besides that I love the phone. You can download music for free on the phone, make your own ringtones right on the phone, and you can't forget that you can remove the battery and put a new one in if you carry an extra. I dislike itunes, but that's not to say I entirely hate apple. I have a macbook pro and I love it. Would I get an iphone again? Maybe. But if I had to recommend one to the other I would definitely choose the android over the iphone.

Go fondle it, surf the web on it, watch a video on it.

At first I didnt think I would like it but consuming media and typing on the screen are sooo much better with the extra real estate.
      Im now E30less.

I did yesterday, it is indeed nice. But I think it'd be uncomfortable in my hipster jeans. The G2 is the same size as my current touch pro 2 and that has been really manageable. I doubt I'll be watching movies on it or anything.

Lol. Touch pro 2 is a brick. I would think a G2 would fit a bit better.

They're about the same size. G2x is much longer & wider.

The Motorola DynaTAC 8000X doesn't work on modern networks.

This is the place where anything goes. This forum is assumed NWS.

This thread is only two slots removed from a thread about slots.

Lol I was about to post this too. Then I read your post.

I can't stand BB anymore. They are falling so far behind the times. We shall see what the new OS brings, but it may be too little, too late.

I'm tired of all the drama with issues waiting for an update on my phone. Just a question, does rooting it and upgrading affect warranty coverage?

I have a Thunderbolt, and it's got issues I don't like. But, I can deal with them if it's the difference between having a warranty or not.
