Yeah quick way to ruin a good night. Since were on the topic of graduation and drunk driving accidents I got a story fairly similar with a way worse outcome. So, two guys I knew back in high school went out to this after prom party. One person was supposed to be the dd but, they wasted(its prom go figure). Ended up having to drive home. Person that was supposed to be the dd was passed so, the other person decided to drive. Bad choice. On the way home he fell asleep at the wheel. They hit a jersey barrier head on killing passenger. The guy ended up getting charged with vehicular manslaughter, dui, and mip. Its fucking not worth it.

Yeah I am sorry to hear that but that's retarded. Judgment impairment is not an excuse--it's not like the consequences haven't been beat into your head for years.

            update!
my friend is still in comma :( he's been in comma for more than a month now.... and as for my other friend, he's been in juvenile hall since, they're going to trial him as an adult and try to get him 6-9 years, to "set an example" so that future generations will "think twice before drinking and driving" so lame, last year some dude in napa was drinking and driving and crashed, killing his girlfriend a passenger in the car instantly, he was sentenced 8 months and is already out, oh and he's an adult. such bull shit, why ruin two kids lifes.
            end of rant, my apologies.
edit: the highschoolers of next year wont even know who my friend is.. how the hell is that going to set an example...

              Drinking and driving is retarded.
I've had to convince friends countless times to let me drive their cars, but its been worth it every time. Which is why I walked home to night!

Darwin at work. Sorry to see your bud's did not act responsible nor did someone else at the party.

I know when I was young we used to party at a buddies house and under age drinking was condoned by his parents WITH stipulation that if you entered the house you forfeited your car keys.

Had a few friends parents like that as well. Personally I think it's a great idea.

You let the kids do what they are going to do anyway, but take away the risk for HUGE, life-changing mistakes.

Friend of mine just did something similar, fortunately he only damaged parked cars, no bodily injury. Now I am trying to buy his wrecked Z28 Camaro to swap the LS1 into my E30
