One of the worst movies I've ever seen. My wife swooons for Clive Owen, so that's how we rented that one. It nearly ruined a night of our vacation. Stinkerooooo.

The lack of character development in my opinion was done on purpose just to show the bleak attitude for the future by the characters. During the whole movie I felt hopeless for the human race and that was the point.

IIRC, it has something like an 18 or 22 minute single action scene with zero cuts done with one camera. Pretty fucking impressive.

Truth.

IMO, the character development and acting are so-so, but the shooting techniques used by the director really pull the viewer into the action. I'd say add it. I've watched worse movies.

Only liked this movie for the scenes that go several minutes with no cuts. The one that starts at night and goes through the sunrise was epic. I kept wondering how many days it took them to get that right.
