^I drove both, and to be honest, they really didn't seem that different. I prefer Nissan as a brand, so....

I should be picking up an Avalanche White, Crew cab, Pro-4X 4x4, with the lux package tomorrow after work.

Was able to get a VPP claim number................$7500 off MSRP.

It does pretty much everything a taco can do with a larger payload (1549 on the RL and 1415 on the Taco) and to top it off it has a trunk.

Taco or Frontier's aren't much of a truck either compared to F-350SD and 3500HD Sierra's, it's all a matter of how you look at it.

Taco, Frontier, Colorado and Ridgeline all fall in the same category, like it or not!

Yes, don't make it less driveable, you are getting it to be practical.

No, I'm not going to do anything like that.

This was actually supposed to happen awhile back, as it was a condition of building another project car. I'm just a few months behind on getting a truck vs getting hte 'vert.

Save the money you'd spend on a lift kit, you'll need it for a down payment on whatever the next flavor of the season is. I predict the misses will end up bun in oven and you'll need a minivan. Jklol.

I think you have made the worst mistake ever. Nissans depreciate faster than any other truck made period. VQ40's aren't good for shit other than draining your wallet at the pump.
We test drove plenty frontiers and titans and the frontiers say they have locking diffs but the rear didn't lock one bit.
Im bias when it comes to brand and I hate toyota especially after building the tacomas and tundras but I can say that the tacoma is a quality hand built truck.
I drove a 4x4 frontier and attempted gas up a hill with 700lbs of sandstone and the way the transmission snaps into gear scares the shit out of you. feels like it's breaking.

I'd go with a tacoma, I've had mine 10 years and 220k hard as fuck, highschool raging, learning to fourwheel, general abuse miles and she takes it like a fucking champ. I will never sell this thing. Hell I could throw some vinegar on the frame and get like 15k for it from Toyota, but I wouldn't even think about it. Plus the TRD has a rear locker so you could run out to Disney and have a blast. I almost bought another one to keep up at my cabin in Idaho, but they seem to like them as much as I do up there judging by how much they want for them.
