Scientology is not a religion; it is not spiritual. It is a con cooked up by L. Ron Hubbard so he wouldn't have to work. He wrote stories for sci-fi magazines and sci-fi novels of his own. He confirmed it himself -- that Scientology was bloody genius (for him) & that he reaped all the benefits. It is a scam and a fraud. No religion inolved. You might as well call pick-pockets & bankrobbers ministers if you classify Scientology as a religion.

It is technically by definition a religion, not a cult. Mormonism by definition is a cult, not a religion. I don't defend any of them because any theistic religion is pretty crazy when you think reasonably about it.
Josh, sorry about your fucked up family matters. It's just another reason why it would be better if no religions existed.
