How much were your loans total? And how much per month? I'm looking at about $15,000 total for my student loans I think. I'm not finished with school yet and wondering how much it'll cost per month to pay off.

$25K in loans. With the basic 10 year payoff (I believe it is 10 years) should be about $240/month with typical interest rates.

I had around 20k. Made minimum payments for several years until I got fed up with the principal staying the same and writing that check every month. Over the past year and a half I got very aggressive and basically threw every dollar I could at it. Kinda how I ended up in an e30, one of the first things out of the budget was a car payment.
