    My HK is a cheapie 5.1, component only, no HDMI.

    I care not. It is adequate for the 3 or 4 hours a week the TV is on.

        I told Directv to kiss my ass about 4 months ago. Best thing I ever did.

        PS3 downstairs, and Roku upstairs.

        Roku is fantastic. There are hundreds of free channels to choose from. You can also get a "channel" to stream media from your PC, just like a PS3.

        All in all, its saving me over $100 a month by ditching my Directv package.
