    Looking for a Toyota 4Runner

Hey guys, my boss has given me a side-task of finding him a used 4x4 Toyota 4Runner for under 10k.
School me on 4Runners and/or anything else that you think I should know.
    Any suggestions on 4Runner forums?

R3v can sometimes produce more useful information than other forums I've been on so I figured it was worth a shot.

My mom has an 03 4runner. It's a goddamn beast in the snow, nice stock JBL sound system. It's the V6 one, not V8 and it has a lot of get up and go. I want one, but I'm confined to my 88 toyota pickup and my 91 24v e30 for now.

22r/re Motors. That's all I know about 4Runners. But those are the old ones so I'm not sure about the V6/V8s.

                      Found this buyers guide:

Thats pretty much everything I needed to know, Just wondering if any R3vrs had first hand experience.
