Ive been on it since the beta opened. Its like old school facebook but with video chat. Since it hasnt has a chance to be ruined like Facebook/Myspace/etc has.
I wouldn't mind an invite, how can I make that happen?
Also, when posting anything, at all, on the internet I follow a rule a marketing prof told me, "Consider anything you post on the internet fair game for the front page of your local newspaper"
if anyone has a G+ invite handy hit me up mike at benzinkrieg dot com
I can run Auto Checks on VINs for tips/donations:
PM me VIN(s) and I'll get you ALL the public recorded info that I have available.
paypal as gift to Mike@benzinkrieg.com
It simple guys. Don't put anything on the internet that you don't want people to know. It's not hard.
Google+ looks like Facebook that has had all it's issues fixed. I'm game for when I get an invite.
Not that easy when Google has godmode turned on. It's no longer an issue of what you write on your profile, it's now what you search, what you read and basically everything you do online. Have a guilty interest reading serial killer fiction? Google knows that. Curious about that pesky burning when you pee? Google knows about that too. Now with G+ they'll take the liberty of mentioning it to all of your friends!
I had an invite but turned it down, it's a little too creepy for now. Though with my Android, Gmail and fondness for Google Maps I'm sure I'll end up converting as well.
You tin foil hat fuckers are funny. Be shocked, virtually every website you have ever visited has placed a cookie on your HD. And they certainly can be used to track you, provided someone has enough data to determine who cookie XX237465g3934Ey34GG57 actually is.
Google plus is more benign than facebook. Nowhere in the TOS have they attempted to take ownership of the content and, even though the conspiracy site says they have no data retention policy, they have an export and fuck off tool built right into Google plus (good luck getting your shit out of and cleaned off of Facebook).
I like it. Unfortunately invites are closed so I cant get all of of my friends on it but once I do I will likely stop updating my facebook. I much prefer the simplified layout, fat trimmed website and the mobile application actually works without training the fuck out of my phone's battery like every iteration of the facebook app did.

I understand wanting to be weary of google just based on how scary huge they are getting, but it's hard to when every single service they've provided me has been completely awesome.
I wish I could say the same for microsoft, facebook, apple, etc. As soon as they were big enough to be assholes, they became assholes.
