The ones you let get away...

I didn't see a thread like this on R3V, so here it goes..

Post a pic of something you wish you hadn't sold/lost/killed/eaten/whatthefuckever..

The thing I most regret selling too quickly; My e39 M5 project car :(
I flew down to South Carolina to pick it up, then drove it home on bald tires through 3 rain storms. It had a salvage title, but I poured every penny I had into it getting it back up to par. I cant find any pics with the new bumper/hood/door installed, but I let it go in much better condition than pictured here..

Here it is (sitting next to my first ever BMW, a 98 328is 5 speed)

And honorary mention: my 98 540i/6. Traded this for an e36 M3, fucking terrible trade :hitler:

my very first E30. I still wish I had it.

Lol, I looked goofy when I was 19, but I guess I look just as silly now, just older.

Maybe we can get this thread back on track.

I regret selling my 1987 Buick GN. I really wished I didn't have to sell it but being away at school and it just sitting at home, I had no other choice.

God, I loved that car. I will own another one day, hopefully one of the elite 547.

            1976 MK2 Escort - 2 door.

First car I ever owned, bought it when I was 13 and spent the next few years fixing it up. Lost interest and sold it when I bought my AE86, such a regretful sale. Only got $1500AUD for it and now you can't find one in decent condition for less than $5,000.

Just picked up a drift missile-spec four door a couple days ago but it isn't anywhere near as good as the 2 door was.

The euro 6 speed from my e36 after it was wrecked. I loved the gearing, and that paired with the s52 in the e30 would have been great. I had just bought a house and needed the cash so I don't regret the decision, but I do miss it.

My 1989 Jeep Grand Wagoneer. That thing was an absolute beast. It could go anywhere and tow anything. A sports car it was not but it was a hell of a truck and everyone who saw it loved it.

My first e30, This is the day I bought it, before I ditched the hideous wheels.

                  My second e30

I found this car for my dad and he drove it for a couple years and then sold it. He offered it to me for a steal. I should have bought it. This is when I picked it up for him, it needed some clean up but was very solid.

I don't let shit get away. I see threads like this and think to myself, "fuck....I don't want that on my conscience."

This is why I will be on the nest season of hoarders....stay tuned.

I regretted selling my turbo car almost immediately.

4 years and 3 months later I bought it back!!! :D

I missed pouring money in to it, lol.

All the e30s I actually built up that Ive sold have been maimed in one way or another.

                            1st - stolen
                            2nd - wrecked

                            4th - wrecked

Im done selling my e30s. From here on out, I will keep them all.

Even though i'm a Mopar fan by heart. I do love my GM's too. I wish i never sold my 62 Impala SS. I only sold it to buy another Mopar. A 72 Dodge Demon 340.
