I have owned atleast 100 cars in the last 15 years, but this one hits me the hardest that I let go.
1973 Olds Delta 88 came out of Texas with almost zero rust. I completely restored the car and turned it into a lowrider. 10 years ago I still had no real love for it, but nowadays realize what a cool ass cruiser it would be to have here in germany.

the chain bridge on the rear would pull the front wheel atleast 4 feet off the ground on 3 wheels!

I touched every single bolt in this car, i took care of all it's problems and upgraded to my taste. I Autocrossed and Rallycrossed it. Decided to go back to school in 2006 and sold it. For three four years the car has given me ZERO problems. It was running like a top. 2 months after sale, the next owner asked me why second gear was destroyed, and why it spun rod bearings. I asked what he was doing.....Drag racing his friends EVO. He abused the car, destroyed it and then tossed it aside selling it for half of what I sold it to him for. I was crushed. At that point, I vowed never to sell a car I put so much heart and soul into, only to have it wiped out of existence. So many rare parts that are not even made anymore, lost. The thing is, the way things had worked out in the next year after sale... I would have been able to keep the car. I regret it every single time I think about it and miss it dearly.
