    sleeping well.

    last night i mysteriously fell asleep at 10pm only to wake up at 7am this morning, feeling like a million dollars, and that i could wrestle a bear.
    i'm usually the kinda person who gets shitty sleep due to staying up late on my days off and the pattern being go to bed past 1 am every night, computer has a lot to do with this.

    so any one on r3v have any tips or tricks they use to get a good nights rest?
    because i want to sleep like this every night :P

        The whole p0rn/R3v thing really doesn't help... I've been sick due to lack of sleep lately. I need to just get like 10-12hrs.

          my computer time consist of r3v, facebook, a shit load of youtube, skate sites/videos, some tumblr, and games and such.

          quit the porn a long time ago because my misses didn't like it, and it isn't a good habit either.
          i just find it hard to crawl into bed before 12 or 1, and when i do its usually hard to fall asleep.

                It's because you fucked your own sleep schedule. What time do you have to wake up in the morning? I try to be up before 8am. I work swing shift 2-10:30 so I need to get shit done in the mornings. I find myself staying up after 1 most nights, which has sucked.

                Just turn shit off and get in bed. I sometimes play music or leave the TV/movie on that I Know will put me to sleep.

                  I felt like death all day long and then I passed out before 10. Woke up at 8:20 and now I feel less like death. Being sick makes a difference. My Body was so weak and I had a fever the size of canada .

                  Just quit being a bitch and learn to turn stuff off and go to sleep. Sleep is vital.

                  Oh and fix your car already. You suck at making cars work.

                    Word. Some truth in this thread. I just need to learn to shut shit off and lay down. Tv puts me to sleep, so I'm working on getting cable in my room.

                    And for my car - I'm going to start taking things apart today :)).

                          pantless i feel you on this. i work as a cook, so late nights i am used to, along with having to be up early the following day, running on 4hrs of sleep does suck.

                          it helps me to shower before going to bed, something about winding down, relaxing, getting all the stress out of your head.

                          going to bed BEFORE 12am and being able to wake up before 10am is a good feeling.

                          trust, i like to stay up late, but sleeping my day away is not the most productive.


                          if all else fails i use tylenol PM. i take two; the first pill i remove the coating and break in half, this is the one that will knock you out, the second i take normally, this one keeps you asleep. this has always garanteed me a minimum of 8hrs rest.

                            Got a laptop? If so, I found this a great way to fall asleep:

                            Unplug it and see how much charge you have remaining. It should tell you how long in minutes you have left. Make that your sleep timer. Say you want to get to sleep at 12:00 AM. If you have an hour of charge on your laptop, unplug it at 11:00 PM and go about your night. Maybe spend that whole hour on your laptop but when you hear the beep for low battery and it getting ready to shut down, you do too. What else is there to do at night but check out r3v? lol

                              I find getting laid somewhat regularly helps me not wake up at 0400 or 0500 for no apparent reason.
