the great debate:parking tickets, rules and regulations

Ok, so here we go

$66 'park on sidewalk' ticket.
no vin on ticket
year put down as 2012....(haha, nice, but its an '88, but pretty close there guy)
But the ticket has my correct plate #, soes I think I am fucked.
I parked on the slope of my apartment complex driveway,behind my parking spot, between the parking spot and the street.
People usually walk on the street cause the slope there is too steep.

Just irritating because there is never a fine line on what is legal and not as far as parking. I think the meter maid was being a waffleswaffleswaffleswaffles that day, (L.A. needs more money for they mayor.........not schools)
The house up the street there has people parking in the red zone all day and night, no tix ever. and across the street I see people parking over night in front of parking spots just as I did but in the street. So maybe if i parked out further like an ahole in the street I wouldve not received a ticket. Fucking Hollywoood. Oh well. Just pay it and shut the fuck up...............

IKR....but it is a serious slope there. I think my car is out of the way of passing traffic, but technically its the continuity of the sidewalk, technically the city needs more money and they will not give a fuck, technically I should of just thought twice................................blargggg, doesnt register as a sidewalk to my dumbass I guess. *paying ticket now* Meter maids run this town...........

i'm pretty sure you can fight it because there is incorrect information on your ticket. no vin and wrong year. it is worth a shot.

Lazy ass Govt employee cant be bothered with filling out the ticket properly (IE doing their job), so you know using common sense and reasonable discretion is far beyond this persons scope of thinking. That or just under orders to write as many as possible, more than likely both, but they did get the bare minimum correct on there so they get to skate by and you still have to pay.

You are fucked just pay the ticket and be done with it. After all you did park on the side walk..........................

Walk back out, meter had 3 minutes left, and there was a fucking ticket on my car. Fucker set off my alarm too (e46, installed shock sensor after trouble with people stealing schrader valves from my tires).

$25, so I just paid it. Still was pissed.

On this note

I got 2 parking tickets one time. I work construction. We had a road closed I can park anywhere I want on that road in any position I want too so long as I am not in the way of our work, because well its closed. Got 2 parking tickets for parking on the wrong side of the road on closed road. That was a fun one city of Lansing wanted their money anyway even with the damn city engineer there with me backing me up. I finally got them dismissed though
