just saw the mars volta and system of a down in baltimore monday night, best damn show I have ever seen. Only complaint I had was the opening act (bad acid trip) was a joke and a waste of 25 minutes. they could have ditched bad acid trip and give the time to mars volta so they could have finished frances the mute they only got through 4 maybe 5 of the songs before it was time for system of a down

i saw the same show here in SD, and i've seen the mars volta 3 times.
that show was easily the worst one IMHO. it has nothing to do with TMV, its the crowd... they're all assholes. instead of appreciating god-like music, they complain and yell to cedric and omar to "sing something" ignorant fucks.
TMV isnt just a band to me, its a religion. i'm obsessed. but that show was dissapointing, stupid SOAD fans... -

The Mars Volta fucking ROCKS. Definitely one of the most talented and unique-sounding group of musicians out there right now.
I'm pretty pissed that I missed out on seeing them a few months ago. I had tickets but couldn't make it down to Providence.

Mars Volta is just about to make thir way through my town. Tickets are 60 fuckin bucks. = Me super pissed off because now I wont get to see them. I can't justify 60 bucks to see a half hour show. SYSTEM OF A DOWN FUCKING SUCKS MY ASS!!!!!!!!!! Why in god's name would they have to pair these two bands together.Comment

I was at the same show. TMV is better on a cd than on stage. They had 8 fuckers on stage playing what kind of sounded like Latin Pink Floyd. I still listened and liked it, but it's not on the same level as SOAD or D.R.I. or Ministry or Metallica.
