if its under 26k you would only need a class b with air break endorsement per US DOT rules IIRC. Its been a long while since let CDL lapse so I could be a little off.The American Republic will endure until the day Congress discovers that it can bribe the public with the public's money. -Alexis de TocquevilleOriginally posted by FusionIf a car is the epitome of freedom, than an electric car is house arrest with your wife titty fucking your next door neighbor.

26,000lbs and under no CDL required. Air brakes are irrelevant.

Negative. Weights determine need for CDL. There are no endorsements without CDL. And even then it isn't an air brake endorsement but there could be an air brake restriction depending on the vehicle he road tests with.
GVWR 26000 under needs no CDL. He can haul a trailer under 10001 to boot, nothing changes.
A vehicle with GVWR over 10000 and doing it in this capacity will require a medical certificate with few exceptions.Last edited by CabrioPunk; 08-24-2011, 08:43 PM.Comment
