    Celeb Homes

Usually I wouldn't post this kind of crap but this time I just had to. Found this site when I looked up directions to the Malibu Beach Pier. Got to head there tomorrow for an ice cream event. So I assume that most of these homes are all up in the Malibu City area.
But this shit just amazes me how these celebs frickin live. The money they must make to afford their large ass homes is unbelievable. This is a website that shows pictures of their homes.
Also whats kind of funny is that some of the celebs listed are has beens that make you wonder how they can still afford them?
Are houses this big a waste? I kinda think so. Hey, that's just me though.

Scroll through the pages and you will see their names next to their home.

Its their money, if a massive house makes them happy, and they can afford it, so be it.

True, but I see it as a waste. Really does Brittany Spears need a home as large a 6 of them put together?
But yeah they do make that kind of coin to afford them.

Is it just me, or would anyone else like to have a place out in BFE instead of where these houses are all at?

I'd rather have a sensible size house. It would be a log home, but would be within reason for living "very" comfortable. But i'd like alot of acers!!! Just for the fact to put a 1950's gas station up and a 1970 Dodge dealership up, with a Dodge Dart of every color made for that year lol.

                  I'm with you.

20-30 acres that sits next to a body of water. Moderately sized log home, with a monster shop/garage.

Everything but the log home part, I would not mind but a modern concrete house is more me. GOTTA have that shop and multi car garage =)

Count me in, guys: For seven- or eight-figure money I'd be looking at a lot of clean, open land with lake, river and forest. Build a decent-sized house with room for friends and family to visit, a mondo garage and a barn for horses. Nice pool/hot tub and maybe a tennis court, too. Oh, and an airstrip for a modest prop plane.

Oh ok since we are playing this game.

Land LOTS of it. a square ought to do it, (bordering on at least 1 portion National forest service land) more is better though nice even mix of decent meadows for pasture ground and Trees partially up into the foot hills. About 2400-2800sq/ft of living space Timber framed and ceder sided or log either with a tin roof (fire country), large coverd porch and big ass deck. over sized garage to park in, and 50x70 w/20x70 lean too shop with wash rack. a 100x200 Monitor style Horse barn 6 stalls, overhead Hay loft, tack room and 100x100 indoor arena, Wash rack and smallish 1 bed full apartment for guests. Another 75X125 machine shed (no heat mostly dirt floor) for parking trailers, tractors, boats and future projects in and back 1/3 for cattle emergencies and calving. Run about 40ac though for horse pasture, the rest set up for a small cattle operation around 60 head to pay the taxes.

There are many places like that out here (not many with that much land) and they start at about 4mill and go to 22mill and thats whats on the market here right now

Yeah thats never going to happen. Going to be very lucky to have 20+ac and set up with a decent small shop and horse barn, property here in cowboy land is still very very expensive
