Digital SLR goodness

Well, one of my good friends at school is the Photo Editor for my college's newspaper, and every now and then I do photo assignments for him to help him out. Well the school just bought 3 Canon Digital Rebel XT's, and a telephoto lens for the staff (which is quite small!) so I get to use these cameras whenever I want, even if its not for the newspaper.

Last night I christened it at my best friend's band's show, and here at the results. Check them out on their web site, which I designed and maintain. And expect a photoshoot of my car with this camera soon :twisted:

What settings do you use for shows? I just use the highest ISO and force a huge underexposure. Did you do a "long" exposure with a flash?

I love my XT. I really need a telephoto lens though. I dont like the kit lens all that much. MEH. Good score.

I don't remember what I used, I was experimenting since it was my first time using it. This is by far my favorite pic:

Manual focus? It has a sweet feature it flashes a ton to focus, but i think that would be disctracting at a concert.[/url]
