Thanks for all the advice. I will be considering it heavily for the next few weeks as for pros/cons. The hygiene reasons dont really concern me because women get just as dirty, its all about teaching good hygiene. Religion won't play a roll either. Finances neither. Guess that means it just comes down to appearance/sexual...i dont want him feeling out of place or girls making him feel different. Maybe by the time he is older, it will be more common to see it not cut. Now i wonder if the people saying hell no, are not cut? That has to play a role right?

When we were expecting and didn't yet know the sex of the baby, my wife informed me we would have it circumcised if it was a boy. She reasoned it would be uncomfortable for the boy to look different from his father if he was not circumcised. We had a girl, so I don't know. I agree it's an outdated practice.sigpic
